Crumbit

Lost your place? Follow the crumbs.

Crumbit quietly remembers the files and websites you worked on, then shows you the next small step. Made for ADHD and autistic minds.

For Windows 10 and 11. No account. Your data stays on your PC.

Remember Hansel and Gretel?

Two children walk into a dark forest and drop breadcrumbs so they can find their way home. It’s the oldest productivity trick there is.

  1. Into the woods

You open a file, then a website, then an email, then another file. Every step leaves a crumb.

  2. The birds arrive

A phone call. A meeting. A long weekend. Interruptions peck away the trail, and you sit down thinking, “Where was I?”

  3. Crumbit keeps the trail

Pip, our little sparrow, is the one bird who guards the crumbs instead of eating them. When you come back, the trail is still there.

You don’t have to remember everything. You just follow the crumbs.

What Crumbit does

Six small things that add up to a calmer day.

  • It keeps your crumbs

Every file you save or download, and the windows and websites you use, are quietly noted with the time. Nothing to set up and nothing to remember.

  • It shows the next crumb

No wall of tasks. Crumbit picks the one most useful thing to do now and tells you why, so starting feels small.

  • Type it the way you’d say it

“Pay rent RM1200 every 1st” or “call the bank tomorrow 3pm” turns into the right task, payment or reminder.

  • Bills and appointments in one place

A calendar for payments, deadlines and appointments, with a gentle heads-up before each one is due.

  • A look back at your day

Mark your wins as you go. At night Crumbit saves a short summary of your day, so you can see how far you walked.

  • Made to feel calm

Calm mode, quiet hours, a hyperfocus check-in, and a “Too much?” button for when the day gets loud.

Your crumbs stay in your kitchen

No account, no cloud, no one watching.

On your PC only

Everything Crumbit records stays on your computer, locked with your Windows login. We never see it.

Names, not contents

Crumbit notes a file’s name and when you used it. It never reads what’s inside, records keys or takes screenshots.

You’re in charge

Pause it, delete any crumb, or choose which folders it watches. Old history clears itself after 90 days.

Google Calendar (optional)

If you choose to link your Google account, Crumbit asks Google for three permissions, each used only for the feature you see in the app:

  • Create and manage its own “Crumbit” calendar: your Crumbit payments, appointments, reminders and (if you choose) tasks are added to a calendar named Crumbit in your Google account, so you get them on your phone. Crumbit cannot change or delete anything in your other calendars.
  • See your calendar list: so you can pick which of your calendars to show inside Crumbit.
  • View events on your calendars: the events of the calendars you pick are shown, read-only, on Crumbit’s Today and Calendar pages so your whole day is in one place.

Your calendar data goes directly between your PC and Google. It is never sent to The Whole Mind Group or anyone else, never used for advertising, and never sold. You can unlink at any time in Crumbit’s Settings. Crumbit’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Questions

Is Crumbit free?

Yes. Crumbit is free on the Microsoft Store.

Does it work on Mac or my phone?

Crumbit runs on Windows 10 and 11. If you link Google Calendar, your Crumbit bills and appointments show up on your phone through Google.

Is it watching everything I do?

No. It notes file names, window titles and web addresses with the time, so you can find your way back. It doesn’t read your files, record what you type or take screenshots, and nothing leaves your PC.

I have ADHD and apps usually overwhelm me. Will this?

Crumbit was built for that. It shows one next step instead of a long list, has a calm mode and quiet hours, and a “Too much?” button that clears the screen down to the basics.
